Our Process
When you work with CORE, you can expect comprehensive service. A roofing contractor will inspect the existing roof to determine if any repairs or modifications need to be made before the new roof can be installed. They will also prepare the work site by covering and protecting the surrounding areas to prevent damage during the installation.
Old roofing materials are removed, including the membrane, insulation, and any damaged or rotting decking. This is done carefully to avoid damaging the underlying structure.
Depending on your building, we then implement a variety of top-of-the-line materials, such as TPO, PVC, EPDM, or modified bitumen, to create a complete roofing system. The installation process for each type of roofing system varies, but typically involves laying down a waterproof membrane, insulation, and other components.
Similar to residential roofs, metal flashing is installed around the edges of the roof, as well as any areas where the roof intersects with a wall or chimney. Other features, such as HVAC units or drainage systems, are also installed during this phase.
At project close, our team will perform a final inspection to ensure that everything has been done properly and well documented with photos of the completed installation.. They will also clean up the work site, removing any debris and materials.
