FAQ Construct Phase
Answer: This is a very common question!
Insurance companies typically issue checks in stages. The first check(s) you receive typically are not for the total claim amount. However, once the work is completed and we finalize any outstanding items with them they will release the remaining balance to you, less your deductible.
Answer: We request that you move your car out of the garage and driveway before 7 AM. Our dump trailers are typically parked in the driveway, blocking the garage doors, and once work begins, they can be difficult to move. Click here to see an example of our job site.
Additionally, during construction there will be debris in the driveway including old roofing nails, moving your car beforehand helps prevent any inconvenience or risk of property damage.
Answer: You will receive an invoice via email from Core, this first invoice will cover a portion of the total claim, not the full amount.
Payment Options are:
- Using the secure link in the invoice email, you can make your payment using ACH. This is the most common form of payment.
- Mail us the check.
- Hand it to our Core Field Manager, who will be driving a Core truck. Please do not give the check to the material delivery crew, as they are with our materials supplier and not employees of Core.
- Pay by credit card, however credit card fees will apply.
Answer: No, you don’t need to be home at all! In fact, if it were my house, I might take the opportunity to get out and enjoy the day—maybe grab a coffee, run some errands, or treat myself—because, trust me, it can get loud!
Answer: Yes, we pull a reroof permit on all our projects. Some cities require that we post the permit on your front door or window, while other cities do not require us to post the permit. It just depends on the City requirements. We are happy to provide a copy of the permit so just let us know!
